Welcome to our new Early Childhood teacher Colette Barron! Colette received her Bachelors' Degree in Early Childhood Education from SIUE. She spent time as a preschool teacher in the St. Louis area and also teaching Kindergarten and 1st Grade at St. Clair School in O'Fallon before making her way to Smithton. In her spare time Colette enjoys getting together with friends and catching up with family. Colette shares his home with her husband Humberto and their 1 year old twin boys. Welcome to our new Music teacher Collin Johnson! Collin received his Bachelors' Degree from Eastern Illinois University. He spent time at Knoxville Jr. High & High School as well as Alton Middle School before making his way to Smithton. In his spare time Collin enjoys video games, swimming, hiking & traveling. Collin shares his home with his partner Carleigh and their cat Ethyl. Collin is excited to work at Smithton to "work with and instruct a wide scope of music students. Welcome to our new SPED teacher Lisa Reimann! Lisa is joining our SPED team with Mrs. Osborn, Mrs. Smith, and Mrs. Kampwerth. Lisa received her Bachelors' Degree from Lindenwood and her Masters at McKendree. She spent time at Millstadt schools, William Holiday and Freeburg before making her way to Smithton. In her spare time Lisa enjoys reading, camping, boating, playing pickleball and spending time with friends. Lisa has been married to Darren for 17 years and has two children Kaitlyn (20) and Collin (16). They have two dogs - Chance and Cooper. Lisa is excited to work at Smithton to meet new people and to join a great school community.
