Last week, Smithton school joined together for National Suicide Prevention Week 💛 ✨ We chalked the walk with messages of hope 📚 We shared SEL book readings that inspired kindness and empathy 🔗 We built a colorful chain filled with positive messages and drawings to remind us we’re all connected Each morning, we also shared one simple but powerful reminder: 👉 Kindness doesn’t cost a thing. We don’t have to be friends with everyone, but we can always choose kindness. As the week closes, let’s carry this message forward — in our classrooms, our hallways, our homes, and our community. Pre-K came to visit 7th Grade today during PE with Mr. Ratz!

We wore yellow today to spread positivity! Shine Bright, Show Support! We worked to smile, encourage and be kind all day.

5th Grade is studying the structure of matter in science class. Ms. Ogilvie had students build models of compounds using gum drops and toothpicks!

Last week in STEM...1st grade blew bubbles & built magnet block towers, Kindergarten counted with buttons, 3rd grade made paper hats & 4th grade built with Legos.
