This week in STEM...4th grade made 3D skeletons, Kindergarten made play-doh insects and 1st grade painted wings.








The Smithton School staff voted on the 7th graders dreamcatchers from Mrs. Berry's Social Studies classes. The staff voted on whose dreamcatcher from each of the three classes was their favorite creatively colored dreamcatcher. Our colorful artist winners are Ean Darr (7-1 Class), Khloe Patterson (7-2 Class), and Carter Ballard & Hunter Hatzenbuehler (7-3 Class). Congratulations to the Winners!



The 8th graders in each of Mrs. Berry's Social Studies classes voted on who gave the BEST George Washington Speech.
The students had to give an inspirational speech in General George Washington's point of view convincing the Continental Army to cross the Delaware River on the evening of Christmas Day to attack the Hessians in Trenton, New Jersey, the next morning.
The inspiring orators that won in each class are Lexi Fisaga (8-1 Class), Sofia Blackwood & Aadie Melton (8-2 Class), and Lucas Feole (8-3 Class). Congratulations to the Winners!
