Last week in STEM...the Tech Club made & ate donuts, 8th grade made mechanized cat toys and kindergarten cut up vegetables for stone soup.
From Ms. Nichols, "Pre-K had an exciting morning with our Gingerbread Man! He escaped our cookie sheet and led us on a hunt around the classroom! We weren't quick enough to catch him, but he did leave us some yummy treats, a stuffy and a new book to read!
EC and Pre-K also had a fun afternoon of gingerbread house making! It was an extra sweet day for some super sweet kiddos! "

Pre-K and EC teamed up to participate in the Scholastic Pajama Drive this year! They collected 14 pairs of new PJ's and 10 new books for local families in need. Scholastic is also matching each pajama set with an additional new book, adding another 14 books to our total! Great job Pre-K and EC!

Earlier this week The 2nd graders created their own Macy’s Day parade characters and put on a parade for the kindergarten and PreK students Tuesday afternoon! They had a ton of fun!
Also, Mrs. Liszewski's 5th graders designed, decorated and inflated their very own foil balloons as well! Their creativity & imaginations were on full display!
Smithton 2nd graders got to enjoy a movie night together from the school auction. They watched Despicable Me 4, danced, and sang!
This week in STEM...1st grade researched pushes & pulls on the playground, 2nd grade learned about sound with slide whistles and the Tech Club made catapults!
